Though a son of the south, Reggie has worked in Rio de Janeiro, London, and Washington, DC. His professional work experience prior to entry in real estate includes work as architect intern, stock broker, teacher, and real estate market analyst. In 1981, he was awarded a congressional appointment to the United States Air Force Academy. Reggie attended The University of South Carolina and North Carolina State University where he received an MBA in International Business and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Architecture respectively. He studied business courses abroad in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro Brazil, where he met his wife and got married. In 2000, he opened and managed a real estate investment company called Rio Enterprises. In four years, Rio Enterprises renovated and traded over 30 distressed residential properties. During that period, he mentored beginner investors, served as secretary of the board and as board trustee of a 350-member real estate investors association, 2001 - 2004. After numerous years in corporate America, Reggie got his real estate license. And in the spring of 2005 he moved to Florida. He has a step daughter and 2 grandchildren. Occasionally Reggie and his wife serve as foster parents. His list of hobbies include jogging, racquetball, reading and travel.
