As a former tri-athlete and finisher of nine marathon races including New York and Boston, Jim is energized and ready to meet your real estate needs. Originally from New York, a retired police sergeant, and former U.S. Marine with a no nonsense, straight as an arrow approach, Jim will dazzle you with his knowledge of the area and leave the razzle to the other guys. A graduate of the New York Institute of Technology with dual degrees in Criminal Justice and Behavioral Science, Jim spent twenty-one years in law enforcement and 25 years in the Coast Guard Reserve. On his first day of retirement in 1989, he fulfilled his life long dream of moving to Florida and has never looked back.

Retiring to Florida was not enough for this congenial Irishman. His restlessness coupled with the success he achieved managing his first investment property motivated him to enter the real estate investment market and add to his growing real estate portfolio of 17 properties. This expansion inspired him to obtain his real estate license and subsequently his mortgage lender's license. He has run the full gambit of real estate transactions himself as a buyer, seller, investor, property manager and lender. As a former licensed mortgage lender, Jim will answer your questions regarding financing and mortgage products right on the spot.
